My precious Mother lived in Iris for the last years of her life. She was ill for almost six years and my family grew to love all the caregivers at Iris as our own family. I know God led us to them. I am a nurse, I know how difficult their jobs are, and there are days that are not perfect. But I can promise you, the commitment they have to care for their residents is beyond comparison. I still follow the Iris FB page, and miss those residents, families, and workers every day. If you are looking for a place for someone you love, you can't go wrong by meeting with the Iris family. This review is for Iris Memory Care of Rowlett, TX. My Mother has Alzheimer's. When it became apparent that I could no longer care for her in my home, moving her into Iris of Rowlett was the right choice for us. In the four months my Mom has lived there, I have watched her thrive. The care she receives from the staff is professional, kind and playful. It is evident that the staff members love what they do and that they are appreciated by Admin. They take pride in providing a genuinely caring and respectful environment for the residents. I am grateful for the peace of mind I have gained from being able to entrust my Mother's care to Iris Memory Care of Rowlett. ~ Victoria L
Mom resided at Iris Memory Care, Rowlett, Texas for over 13 months. During this time, she received excellent physical and emotional care from the management and staff. They were always responsive to my questions and concerns and provided timely solutions to challenges. The facility was always well maintained as well as her room. However the important part was the staff which can be challenging in this industry. They were always professional and had the best interest of my mother’s health in mind. I have no reservation in highly recommending this facility. ~ Ron D

What kind of insurance does iris memory center in rowlett take
We are an assisted living community, so we cannot accept insurance. We are a long term care community, not an acute or subacute care facility.
Do you offer respite care while caregiver is unavailable?
If we have availability, yes! We are happy to provide respite care.
Is this what they call a Skilled nursing home
Hi Linda! No, we are not a skilled nursing facility. We are an assisted living facility that specializes in care for those coping with Alzheimer’s and other kinds of dementia.
Do thay accept couples there?
Absolutely we accept couples as this is their home. We would love to talk to you more about our community and show you what we have to offer.
